Our nominations range across projects from a little parallax site we did to support the team at Scottish Autism in increasing the understanding of autism and the different ways it affects people. In terms of Advertising Strategy the campaigns include our Homecoming 2014 campaign for CalMac and the city centre residents campaign for Edinburgh, This is Edinburgh – both of which have delivered excellent return on investment for these organisations.

Our media team were delighted that the relatively small, in budget terms, campaign for The National Galleries of Scotland has been nominated. Smaller budgets demand better and more innovative planning skills and that’s something our experienced media team have.

Finally our integrated campaigns for Graham’s with their advent calendar, and full year 2014 campaign, Border Biscuits and CalMac take up 4 of the 8 nominations in this category and we’re tickled pink about that.

“Not only do awards help to maintain creative standards but they breed confidence….”

It’s telling that these nominations range across a number of our key service areas including digital and social media, advertising and integrated marketing. The Lane is a truly integrated multi service agency and these nominations and our recent Marketing Society Star Awards wins reflect our investment in our experienced team of specialists. It’s a team that’s feeling pretty proud right now to have our work recognised by our peers, and we’re delighted for our clients because it takes brave, creative and innovative clients to write good briefs and approve great work. So on the 8th of October at the Awards ceremony the body language above the table will say that say “it’s terribly nice to be nominated” but under the cloth we’ll be clenching all of our bits hoping for a little something to go home with!
